Mr. Gootee is a partner at Solutions Partners, Inc. (SPI). Utilizing his 24 years of IT experience, Mr. Gootee is primarily focused on managing and building an On Demand practice. This practice has attained partner certification with Salesforce.com implementing/integrating Sales Force Automation and Partner Relationship Management solutions. SPI is also a certified partner with Xactly Corporation Implementing/integrating Xactly's Sales Incentive Compensation solution.

Before becoming a partner with SPI, Mr. Gootee's was involved in starting a new community bank called Legacy Bank, located in downtown Campbell, CA. He was a founding investor and a member of the board of directors. Mr. Gootee filled an integral role in the business activities and capital campaign required to start a new bank charter. This included the stringent background check by the OCC required of all bank board members and key executives. Mr. Gootee was also the chairman of the bank's Technology Committee. The bank opened in October of 2003 and was purchased in February of 2007 by United Securities Bank.

Prior to starting Legacy Bank, Mr. Gootee was the co-founder and CFO of Core Technology Group, Inc., (Core) a premier Information Technology Consulting firm specializing in tier one business system applications such as Oracle, PeopleSoft and JD Edwards, as well as leading edge E-commerce applications. Besides playing a major role in business administration duties, he was a key component in company strategy as well as customer and partner relations. In 1996 Core received an award from Oracle for implementing 42% of all Oracle applications sold in the General Business space in the Western Region. In 1997 Core was named by Inc. magazine in their Inc. 500 list as being the 193rd fastest, privately held, growing company in the United States. Mr. Gootee co-founded Core in 1985 and his company was purchased in 1999.

Prior to establishing Core Technology Group, Inc., Mr. Gootee was a Senior Analyst Programmer for Seagate Technology, one of the world's largest disk drive manufacturers, where he implemented and supported Seagate's business systems in California, Florida and Singapore.

Mr. Gootee spent 5 years in the United States Air Force from 1977 to 1982 where he studied and specialized in Civil Engineering supporting bases in southern Florida for 3 years and Europe for 2 years.

Mr.Gootee is active in various charity organizations for his children's schools and local community and has been a recent board member on the National Junior Basketball Association. Mr. Gootee has coached youth basketball for 12 years and has also coached Little League baseball, Youth Soccer, Volleyball and Lacrosse.
