Mr. Cartmell has over 30 years of experience in the field of Information and Applications Technology. Jack founded Solutions Partners, Inc. in 2001 to deliver premier applications consulting services to companies in the Silicon Valley.
Jack has held various executive positions in Fortune 500 companies and in smaller companies as well. He first joined EDS at the outset of his career. Prior to leaving EDS for a start-up company, Jack had management responsibility for Blue Cross / Blue Shield and Standard Business Accounts. Mr. Cartmell then joined information resources to help build the software company into HP's second largest VAR, which resulted in a subsequent merger with Hewlett-Packard.
At HP, Jack held diverse positions as a Sales and Support Manager, R&D Manager, and Marketing Manager where he was promoted from within the company to accept new and challenging roles. Jack subsequently left HP to form a consulting practice for the process manufacturing industry. His company was folded into Core Technology Group where Jack was VP of Sales and Marketing. Jack helped grow Core to a point where it was then purchased by Future, where he served as VP of Sales until departing to form Solutions Partners.
Mr. Cartmell holds degrees in both Computer Science and Business Administration from Washington State University.
